Dear Lois,and Zimmerman family, We are sorry to have missed the services for John due to planting. You have been in our thoughts and prayers, however. I always enjoyed John's skill and wit at Zimmerman Hardware. He was a faithful attendant for Lois, helping with the Easter bunny collection at their home, and in general helping her in many other ways as needed. I know he was a great father as well. Sincere sympathy to the family of John Zimmerman from myself and twin Dorothy Tomlison...our families shopped with joy many a time at Zimmerman Hdwe....this brings to mind the many "steady as you go, dependable stores" on our Fairbury Main Street are now gone.
